Cornwall Council - Multiple temporary road restrictions

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ORDERS
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall
(Dutson Road and A388 Between County Boundary And Dutson Road, Launceston)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 17th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. Road affected - Dutson Road between the junction with the 83254, Roydon Road and property known as Farthings and A388 Between County Boundary And Dutson Road between property known as Farthings and Nether Bridge, Launceston. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for fire hydrant repairs and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Windmill Hill, Launceston between the junctions with Penworth Close and The Beeches. An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing and patching works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. Roads subject to prohibition - Brentspool Hill, A39 Between Labernum Terrace And Brentspool Hill and A39 Between Dipper Lane And Brentspool Hill for their entire lengths, Kilkhampton, Bude. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Bude. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Brentspool Hill, A39 Between Labernum Terrace And Brentspool Hill and A39 Between Dipper Lane And Brentspool Hill for their entire lengths, Kilkhampton, Bude. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for new water main works for a new development and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - 83257 Between Lime Tree Way And Tremollett Road, Coads Green, Launceston between property number 2, Colenso Cottages and the junction with Tremollett Road. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th October 2025 to 17th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From South View To Serpells Meadow, Polyphant, Launceston between the junctions with Serpells Meadow and Access to Polyphant Quarry. An alternative route will be signed on site.
