What is happening?
BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL MORRISON AVENUE, POOLE - GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Morrison Avenue from its junction with Alder Road to its junction with Boyd Road
WHY: Gas mains replacement works by SGN
WHEN: Anticipated dates: 13 October until 14 November 2025
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Alder Road, Pine Avenue, Heather View Road, Morrison Avenue

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
