Leiston - Temporary Road Closures due to Utility Works
What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 – Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF LOVERS LANE, LEISTON[1] AND PART OF VALLEY ROAD, LEISTON
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing LOVERS LANE, LEISTON from its junction with King George’s Avenue to approximately 700m north of its junction with Valley Road. VALLEY ROAD will also be closed for approximately 650m from the junction with Lovers Lane.
The closure is to facilitate utility works. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be King George’s Avenue; B1122 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate between the hours of 8pm to 5am from 20th October – 20th December 2025.
