Rendham Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Improvement Works
What is happening?
Sizewell C (Nuclear Generating Station) Order 2022/853 - Article 19
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF B1119, RENDHAM ROAD, SAXMUNDHAM
SIZEWELL C (Nuclear Generating Station) intends to make an order closing the B1119, Rendham Road, as well as the dedicated right hand turn lanes at the A12/B1119 junction. The distance of the Rendham Road closure is approximately 75m.
The closure is to facilitate works associated with junction improvements including road widening on the B1119 west of the A12 and widening of the dedicated right hand turn lane on the A12 Northbound. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion route will be B1119; B1120; A1120; A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate between 20/10/2025 to 19/11/2025, but will remain in place until the works are completed.
