NOTICE OF MAKING
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARADISE LANE AND RODDLESWORTH WAY, LEYLAND, SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 17 September 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Introduce a prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of road:
a) Paradise Lane, Moss Side, Leyland, all sides, from its junction with Roddlesworth Avenue, for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly direction;
b) Roddlesworth Way, Moss Side, Leyland, the south side, from a point 37.5 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Keer Drive for a distance of 41 metres in an easterly direction.
2. Introduce a prohibition of loading and unloading in the following lengths of road:
a) Paradise Lane, Moss Side, Leyland, all sides, from its junction with Roddlesworth Avenue, for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly direction;
b) Roddlesworth Way, Moss Side, Leyland, the south side, from a point 37.5 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Keer Drive for a distance of 41 metres in an easterly direction.

This Order will come into force on the 29 September 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
