Temporary Orders The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From The Cottage To Chacewater Hill, Chacewater) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Chacewater.
This prohibition is necessary for bridge repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd October 2025 to 24th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From The Cottage To Chacewater Hill, Chacewater between gird reference SW75495 45239 and the property named Tamblyns Barn.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Shortlanesend. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th October 2025 for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.
Road affected - School Hill, Shortlanesend between the Access To The Rear Of 4-12 School Hill and the junction of the B3284.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Portscatho.
This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Truro.
This prohibition is necessary for S278 new junction works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2025 to 24th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Newham Road, Morlaix Avenue, Truro between the junction of Morlaix Avenue and grid reference SW82905 44224. An alternative route will be signed on site. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Various Roads Penryn) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Penryn. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2025 to 24th October 2025.
Roads subject to prohibition - Glasney Terrace between Bronescombe Close and Hill Head, Eastwood Road, Hill Head, Penryn Road To Rear Of 1 To 3 Hill Head From Glasney Terrace, St Thomas Street and Hillside Meadow, Penryn for their entire lengths. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Penryn.
Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Edward Street, Castle Street and Union Street, Truro for their entire lengths.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order The County of Cornwall (Truro) (Restrictions on Driving) Order 2006, River Street (Unclassified) - between its junctions with Little Castle Street and Victoria Square and Little Castle Street (Unclassified) - between its junctions with Kenwyn Street and River Street, for their entire lengths. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out surfacing works. The Order will come into operation on 6th October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st November 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600 on a daily basis, weekends included. Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st October 2025 to 27th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
