DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING AND NO WAITING, NO LOADING) ORDER 2025

DUKE STREET, DARLINGTON

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:

Suspend the pay and display parking spaces on the south side of Duke Street from a point 94 metres east of its junction with Stanhope Road South to a point 19 metres west of its junction with Larchfield Street and to introduce no waiting and no loading at the same location to allow traffic to travel along the parking spaces while works take place to install a power cable

The maximum duration of the temporary measures under this Order is 18 months commencing from 13th October 2025, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
