TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along
Troed-Y-Rhiw Road, Wattsville starting from its junction with the lane leading to Hafod Tudor Terrace and outside property number 3 Troed-Y-Rhiw Road for a distance of approx. 50 metres and outside property number 63 Woodside Walk for a distance of approx. 15 metres.
The proposed Order is expected to commence on 22 September 2025 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 3 October 2025.

Alternative routes are via Nine Mile Point Road, Hafod Tudor Terrace.
The reason for making the Order is to allow for excavation of gas main to locate original connection point and to remove rubble/rocks sitting within the gas main.
The order is required by GTC.
