ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(BRIDEWELL LANE, KETTERING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Bridewell Lane, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Bridewell Lane, Kettering for its entire length.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to clear blockage for telecoms.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(THE PYGHTLE, WELLINGBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of The Pyghtle, Wellingborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of The Pyghtle, Wellingborough from the junction with Gold Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to locate water mains.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 8 days.

(A43 NORTHAMPTON ROAD, BROUGHTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of the A43 Northampton Road, Broughton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of the A43 Northampton Road, Broughton from 230 metres south of the roundabout to Mawsley Road, going southwards along the traveller site to the end of Old Willow site (413 metres).
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 night.

(COFFEE TAVERN LANE, RUSHDEN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Coffee Tavern Lane, Rushden as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Coffee Tavern Lane, Rushden from the junction with High Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during interim to permanent works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 2 days.

(PIPEWELL ROAD & RUSHTON ROAD – DESBOROUGH & DESBOROUGH ROAD – PIPEWELL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Pipewell Road and Rushton Road, Desborough and Desborough Road, Pipewell as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Pipewell Road and Rushton Road, Desborough and Desborough Road, Pipewell – from Desborough Pipewell Road Industrial Estate to Pipewell East Carlton Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION : The restriction is required for safety during carriageway patching.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 25 days.

(HIGH STREET, TWYWELL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Twywell as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Twywell from outside Woodlands Cottage.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the rebuilding of a joint box.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(MAIN STREET, LAXTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Main Street, Laxton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Main Street, Laxton – between Threshing Barn and Spanhoe House.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during culvert replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(WESTCOTT WAY, CORBY) (NORTHBOUND ONLY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Westcott Way, Corby (northbound only) as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Westcott Way, Corby (northbound only) from Elizabeth Street & Oakley Road – works area on the exit of the roundabout on Westcott Way.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during ongoing works – Corby Station Link.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
