(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (Overhowden, Oxton, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation  Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on  29 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 1 October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D5/5 at Overhowden, Oxton, Lauder.

There is no alternative route. A map showing the restriction can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
