(JOHNSON ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 290) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Johnson Road, Wakefield for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Johnson Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Sullivan Avenue, Corbett Drive & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 29th September 2025 between 09.30 hours and 13.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WARNEFORD AVENUE, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 292) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Warneford Avenue, Ossett for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Warneford Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, dead end street. Access maintained.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th September 2025 between 19.00 hours and 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BROOKDALE AVENUE, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 293) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Brookdale Avenue, Ossett for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Brookdale Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th September 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(DURKAR LANE, DURKAR)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 294) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame

& cover to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Durkar Lane, Durkar for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Durkar Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Durkar Lane, Standbridge Lane, Asdale Road, Durkar Low Lane, Denby Dale Road East, Durkar Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st October 2025 between 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(NELL GAP LANE, OVERTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 296) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new electric cable & connection to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Nell Gap Lane, Overton between numbers 117 and 129. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Nell Gap Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Nell Gap Crescent, Nell Gap Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 30th September 2025 to 13th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(LEEDS ROAD, LOFTHOUSE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 302) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Leeds Road, Lofthouse outside number 32 (service road). The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Leeds Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Leeds Road/Leeds Road (service road) & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th October 2025 to 31st October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(GRANGE LANE, FLOCKTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 303) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for Northern Powergrid to cut back vegetation to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Grange Lane, Flockton from Old Road to the district boundary. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Grange Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Old Road, New Road, Wakefield Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 14th October 2025 09.00 hours to 17.00 hours, open at all other times, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BROOK STREET, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 304) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for Yorkshire Water, interim to permanent reinstatement to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Brook Street, Wakefield outside number 37. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Brook Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, one way street. Access will be maintained for business deliveries.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th October 2025 to 15th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(STANNARD WELL LANE, HORBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 306) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for electrical fuse upgrade to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Stannard Well Lane,

Horbury from number 45 to number 49. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Stannard Well Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stannard Well Drive & vice versa. Access maintained for residents where possible.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 13th October 2025 to 17th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(INGS ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 308) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing work to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ings Road, Wakefield from Sainsburys to the roundabout and from the roundabout to the petrol station. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Ings Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Diversions will be signed as required:

Phase 1 – Towards the roundabout – Marsh Way, Union Street, Bull Ring, Marygate & Westgate. Phase 2 – Denby Dale Road, Charlesworth Way, Ings Road.

Phase 3 – Charlesworth Way, Ings Road, Westgate, Marygate, Bull Ring, Westmorland Street, The Springs, Kirkgate.

Phase 4 – George Street, Kirkgate. Phase 5 – Denby Dale Road, Charlesworth Way, Ings Road, Ings Road, George Street, Kirkgate.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th October 2025 to 2nd November 2025 between 22.00 hours and 06.00 hours when required, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(GEORGE LANE, NOTTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 309) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace a BT pole to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: George Lane, Notton for 40 metres near the junction of Mill Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of George Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road, Chevet Lane, George Lane & vice versa. Access maintained for pedestrians, buses and emergency vehicles.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th October 2025 to 17th October 2025, road closed 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours, clear at all other times, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(SOUTH TERRACE, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 310) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace water apparatus to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: South Terrace, Ossett at the junction with Horbury Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of South Terrace.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Storrs Hill Road, Sowood Avenue & vice versa. Residents access maintained where possible.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th October 2025 between 19.00 hours to 23.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(GEORGE A GREEN ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 311) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for resurfacing works to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: George a Green Road, Wakefield from Dewsbury Road to Horbury Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of George a Green Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Dewsbury Road, Horbury Road, George a Green Road & vice versa. Access maintained and residents access maintained where safe to do so.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th October 2025 to 2nd November 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Closed in sections as and when required. Monday to Friday 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours, Sunday 12th October 2025 and Sunday 19th October 2025 16.00 hours to 00.01 hours.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(OSSETT BYPASS, OSSETT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 312) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for litter picking, grass cutting, road sweeping, tree pruning and gully cleaning to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ossett Bypass, Ossett. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Ossett Bypass.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Wakefield Road, Dewsbury Road, Leeds Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 16th October 2025 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours, open at all other times, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
