What is happening?

NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH GG17 (PART) – CRANSLEY & PUBLIC FOOTPATH
VD34 (PART) – KETTERING) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Order made by North Northamptonshire Council on 27th March 2025 and which came into effect on 2nd April 2025 has been extended until the works to which it relates have been completed or until midnight on 2nd April 2026 whichever is sooner by the Secretary of State for Transport. Private access to land or premises adjacent to the said footpaths is unaffected.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for health and safety.

SCHEDULE
(Lengths of footpaths to be closed)
The route to be closed starts on Public Footpath GG17 (part) in the Parish
of Cransley at point A on the map at National Grid Reference (NGR) SP
8509 7857, at its junction with Public Footpath GG14. It then runs in a generally south-easterly direction for approximately 100 metres to Point B at NGR SP 8518 7852, at its junction with Public Footpath VD46.
The route to be closed is shown by a solid black line on the map between
points A - B.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: There is no suitable alternative route.
