(D83/1 PLORA WOOD, INNERLEITHEN) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D83/1 Plora Wood, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 2 October 2025 on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekend of 27 and 28 September 2025. The Order is required for tree felling & timber harvesting.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D83/1 at Plora Wood, Innerleithen.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via northeast on the B709, east on the A72, south on the D80/1 and west on the D83/1 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
