Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

ACLE AND BEIGHTON – 1) C437 Beighton Road from its junction with C875 Lefins Lane for 2160m southwards and; 2) U59299 Low Farm Road from its junction with B1140 Coxhill Road for 155m eastwards and; 3) B1140 Coxhill Road from its junction with C446 Acle Road for 1330m southwards to facilitate new dual carriageway construction works from 1st October 2025 to 31st December 2026 (may continue until 31st March 2027). BACONSTHORPE – C636 Baconsthorpe Road from its junction with C637 Old Hall Road to its junction with C636 Barningham Road to facilitate new water connection works from 28th to 30th September 2025 (may continue until 11th November 2025). BLOFIELD – Brundall Road from 70m northeast of its junction with Highfield Avenue for 30m north eastwards to facilitate laying new water main works for new development from 1st to 3rd October 2025 (may continue until 14th November 2025). BUXTON LAMAS – U57241 Sandy Lane from its junction with Coltishall Road for 450m westwards to facilitate new fibre network installation works from 29th September to 3rd October 2025 (may continue until 14th November 2025). Alternative route is via: Back Lane, Coltishall Road. The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.

CAISTER-ON-SEA AND WEST CAISTER – 1) A149 Caister Bypass/Norwich Road (north-westbound only) from its junction with C484 Yarmouth Road to 150m northwest of its junction with C643 Jack Chase Way and; 2) A149 Norwich Road/ Caister Bypass (south-eastbound only) from its junction with A1064 Norwich Road to 150m southeast of its junction with C643 Jack Chase Way and; 3) A149 Caister Bypass/Norwich Road (northbound only) from its junction with C484 Yarmouth Road to 150m northwest of its junction with A149 Norwich Road/Caister Bypass (south-eastbound only) from its junction with A1064 Norwich Road to its junction with C643 Jack Chase Way; and 4) A149 Caister Bypass/Norwich Road (northbound only) at its junction with C643 Jack Chase Way; 5) C643 Jack Chase Way at its junction with A149 Caister Bypass (northbound) to its junction with U61954 High Pasture Lane and; 7) U62059 Jump Lane to facilitate kerb and tactile paving works, drainage and 2 full lane closures (restricted access) and Roads 1 and 2 will be closed/restricted in phases to permit utility works in the Road. Road 6 will be closed/restricted from 29th September to 6th December except when permitted by an Authorised Marshal. COLBY AND BANNINGHAM – 1) C298 Colby Road/Church Road from 30m south of its junction with U14240 Bridge Road for 60m northwards and; 2) U14240 Bridge Road from its junction with C298 Colby Road/Church Road for 20m eastwards to facilitate overhead cabling works on 1st October 2025 (may continue until 12th November 2025). Alternative route is via: 1) Colby Road, B1145 North Walsham Road/Banningham Road, A140 Aylsham Bypass/Cromer Road, High Noon Road, Church Road; 2) Bridge Road, Colby Road (Erpingham, Aylsham, Colby). CROMER – Back Lane Adjacent to 15 Cadogan Road Heading South To Canada Road from its junction with Cadogan Road for 45m northwards to facilitate duct laying works from 1st to 5th October 2025 (may continue until 16th November 2025). Alternative route is via: Cadogan Road, Cabbell Road, Canada Road, A149 Prince of Wales Road, Cadogan Road. The works promoter is BT.

CROMER – Gangway from its junction with Surrey Street for 25m southwards to facilitate clearing fibre blockages works from 1st to 3rd October 2025 (may continue until 14th November 2025). Alternative route is via: The Gangway, A149 Church Street/Mount Street/Louden Road/Prince of Wales Road/Hamilton Road, Brook Street, Surrey Street. The works promoter is Openreach.

EAST RUSTON – U19081 Chequers Street from 190m west of its junction with U19052 Back Road for 30m westwards to facilitate meter exchange works on 29th September 2025 (may continue until 10th November 2025). Alternative route is via: Chequers Street, Back Road, High Hill Road, Chapel Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

FELTHORPE – C262 Taverham Road from its junction with Reepham Road to its junction with Church Lane to facilitate patching works on 2nd October 2025 (may continue until 13th November 2025). Alternative route is via: Taverham Road, The Street, Felthorpe Road, Upgate, Reepham Road (Felthorpe, Attlebridge). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

HAINFORD – 1) U57237 Spixworth Road from its junction with Lady Lane for 400m southwards and 2) Frettenham Road from its junction with Spixworth Road for 100m south-eastwards to facilitate installation and connection of new works for overhead line and poles on 27th September 2025 (may continue until 8th November 2025). Alternative route is via: Spixworth Road, Buxton Road, Frettenham Road, Grange Road, Hall Road (Frettenham, Hainford). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

HEMPSTEAD – Back Lane from its junction with C622 Marpit Lane to its junction with U14365 Chapel Lane to facilitate re-building embankment works from 1st October to 12th November 2025 (may continue until 12th May 2026). HOLT – Elizabeth Crescent at its junction with Edinburgh Road to facilitate new manhole replacement works, traffic over the road shall be prohibited to turn left onto Edinburgh Road from 29th September to 31st October 2025 (may continue until 30th April 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Cadent.

KNAPTON – C241 Hall Lane from 38m southwest of its junction with U19255 School Close for 70m south westwards to facilitate new carriageway construction works on 1st October 2025 (may continue until 12th November 2025). ORMESBY ST. MARGARET – C452 Beach Road from its junction with C643 Scratby Road for 80m north eastwards to facilitate new sewer connection works from 29th September to 31st October 2025 (may continue until 30th April 2026). SHERINGHAM – New Road from its junction with Cremer Street to its junction with Beeston Road to facilitate new water connection works from 1st to 3rd October 2025 (may continue until 14th November 2025). Alternative route is via: George Street, Cremer Street. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

SPIXWORTH – U57508 Park Road from its junction with Giles Road for 90m eastwards to facilitate new duct with cab and chamber installation works from 29th September to 1st October 2025 (may continue until 12th November 2025). STRUMPSHAW – Strumpshaw BOAT 7 from its junction with Low Road for 150m westwards to facilitate surface repair works from 29th September to 3rd October 2025 (may continue until 14th November 2025). SWANNINGTON WITH ALDERFORD & LITTLE WITCHINGHAM – C270 Hall Road from 145m west of its junction with Reepham Road for 30m westwards to facilitate meter exchange works on 1st October 2025 (may continue until 12th November 2025).
