B1342 STATION ROAD BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER NUMBER 3 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of B1342 Station Road Belford for a distance of 10 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 19th October 2025 until the 20th October 2025.

It is expected the road will only be closed on the 19th October 2025 until the 20th October 2025 between the hours of 22:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 20th October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1342, A1, C60, C59, B1342 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management to allow tamper works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
