Wiltshire, Multiple Roads, Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Mill Street (Part), Heytesbury; from its junction with Mantles Lane to its property known as Overstream House to enable Wessex Internet to carry out ducting and associated works.

Alternative route via Mill Street (unaffected length) - C272 - Mantles Lane and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day on weekdays only until 17th October 2025.

B) Huntingdon Rise (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Huntingdon Street to its property known as No.37 Huntingdon Rise to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out footway surfacing and associated works.

Alternative route via Huntingdon Rise (unaffected length) - Ashley Road -A363 - B3108 - Huntingdon Street and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 21st October 2025.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

C) Portal Avenue (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Leafy Lane for a distance of approximately 38m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains connection works and other associated works.

Alternative route via Portal Avenue (unaffected length) - Dowding Avenue - Trenchard Avenue -Leafy Lane and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 22nd September 2025 and the closure will be required until 30th September 2025.

D) Highbury Park, Warminster; from its junction with Woodcock Road to its junction with Boreham Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Alternative route via Boreham Road - Woodcock Road and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 22nd September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 5 days.

E) C360 (Part), Warminster; from its junction with High Street to its entrance with Morrisons Car Park to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Alternative route via C360 (unaffected length) - B3414 and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 25th September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 4 weekdays.

F) C275 (Part), Corsley; from its junction with The Hollow to its junction with Court Lane to enable Openreach to carry out customer connection and associated works. Alternative route via C275 (unaffected length) - A362 - C274 - C275 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order which previously came into operation on 13th August 2025 will now recommence on 22nd September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day.

G) Ham Green, Holt; from its junction with Bradford Road to its junction with Gaston.

H) Gaston, Holt; from its junction with Ham Green to its junction with The Star.

I) The Star, Holt; from its junction with Gaston to its junction with Station Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out drainage and associated works.

Alternative route via Station Road - B3107 and vice versa.

This Order which previously came into operation on 14th July 2025 will now recommence on 22nd September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 until 3rd October 2025.

Orders A) to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Orders F) to I) has a maximum duration of 18 months.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Section 16(A) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

Bradford Road (Part), Atworth; from its junction with Coronation Street to its junction with Church Street to enable filming on location. Alternative route via Bradford Road (unaffected length) - C212 - C239 - A365 and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 15th October 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 19:00 for 1 day.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the closure.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
