ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
BRIDLEWAY NO. 13 GREAT WYRLEY PARISH AND BRIDLEWAY NO. 26 ESSINGTON PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following
That length of Bridleway No. 13 Great Wyrley Parish from its junction with Jacobs Hall Lane in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 298 metres to its junction with Bridleway No. 26 Essington Parish That length of Bridleway No. 26 Essington Parish from its junction with Bridleway No. 13
Great Wyrley Parish (in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 76 metres to its junction with Public Footpath No. 23 Essington Parish.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to a damaged bridge No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order will come into operation on 18/9/25 and continues that restrictions which came in to force on 7/8/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State. Date: 25/9/25

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 23/9/25 made an
Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Horsey Ln, Upper Longdon. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144698601. The Order will come into operation on 30/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole swap works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Blithbury Rd, nr Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144660868. The Order will come into operation on 30/09/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 02/10/2025.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the fibre optic cabling/jointing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Wood Ln, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144048268. The Order will come into operation on 29/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 10/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which
is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:
Bond Way, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=145015409. The Order will come into operation on 13/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/10/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Borrowcop Ln, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements,
timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144860097. The Order will come into operation on 13/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/10/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Burntwood Road, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144637839. The Order will come into operation on 12 October 2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12 October 2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Bradbury Lane, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144654896. The Order will come into operation on 14 October 2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16 October 2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the installation of new chamber, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.
