The County of Cornwall (Alverton Street, The Greenmarket, Causewayhead, Market Place and Market Jew Street, Penzance) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Penzance.
This prohibition is necessary for gas main replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 1st December 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Roads affected - Alverton Street, Penzance between the junction of Clarence Street and Union Street, The Greenmarket, Penzance for its entire length, Causewayhead, Penzance between the junction of The Greenmarket and Bread Street, Market Place, Penzance between the junction of Causewayhead and Market Jew Street, Market Jew Street, Penzance between the junction of Market Place and Albert Street.

The County of Cornwall (No Go By Hill, St Just) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Just.
This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025, for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - No Go By Hill, St Just between the junction of Nancherrow Hill and Access Track to Highfield.
An alternative route will be signed on site.

undermentioned length of road in St Ives.
This prohibition is necessary for gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 15th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.
Road affected - High Street, St Ives between the junction of Bedford Road and Market Place.
An alternative route will be signed on site.

This prohibition is necessary for crane positioning works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th October 2025, for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.
Road affected - Tredarvah Road, Penzance between the properties known as number 28 and 42.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 7th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 on 6th October 2025 and continue until 0600 on 7th October 2025, weekdays only.
Road affected - Fish Street, St Ives between the junction of The Wharf for approximately 12 metres.
There is no alternative route.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 on 9th October 2025 and continue until 0600 on 10th October 2025, weekdays only.
