ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
(GIBBET STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Gibbet Street from its junction with Albert Street to Cromwell Terrace for a distance of approximately 75 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Lightowler Road, Hanson Lane, Albert Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th September 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(LINTON GROVE, RASTRICK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Express Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Linton Grove from No. 5 to end of Linton Grove for a distance of approximately 45 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st December 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(REINS ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Reins Road from No. 7 to No. 17 for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.
The alternative route is via Hanson Drive, Highfield Road, Holly Bank Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(ROYD LANE, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Royd Lane from its junction with Halifax Road to Cross Wells Road for a distance of approximately 750 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A58, Castle Lane, Nursery Lane, Cross Wells Road, Hob Lane, Lane Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SMITHY CLOUGH LANE, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithy Clough Lane from its junction with Hollin Lane for a distance of approximately 550 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via Hollin Lane, A58 Rochdale Road, unaffected part of Smithy Clough Lane and vice versa.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th October
2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HOB LANE, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hob Lane from its junction with Cross Wells Road for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to. The alternative route is via Cross Wells Road, Lane Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th September
2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.
(WEST PARADE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of West Parade from No. 3a to No. 19 for a distance of approximately 57 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to.
No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 30th September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(MIALL STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Buko Traffic & Safety Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Miall Street from its junction with Battinson Road to Rushton Street for a distance of approximately 115 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via Battinson Road, Queens Road, Rushton Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th October 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(BRIDGE STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bridge Street from No. 1 to No. 2 for a distance of approximately 16 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Water Street, West Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(ROOLEY LANE, SOWERBY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rooley Lane from Rooley Farm to Town Gate for a distance of approximately 400 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via Well Head Lane, Hubberton Green Road, unaffected part of Rooley Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner
and the road re-opened on 17th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(THRUSH HILL ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadside Traffic Management NW Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thrush Hill Road from Erringden Road to Mytholmroyd Crown Green Bowls Club for a distance of approximately 45 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Thrush Hill Road, Stocks Lane, Cragg Road, New Road, Burnley Road, Caldene Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th October 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(TREE LANE, WAINSTALLS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Tree Lane from its junction with Wainstalls Road to Cold Edge Road for a distance of approximately 145 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Wainstalls Road, Cold Edge Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th October 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
