What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING (WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (MAP BASED) (AMENDMENT No.70) ORDER 2025

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING (PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) (AMENDMENT No.71) ORDER 2025

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18th September 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Havering did make the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended

  2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-

a) Introduce a disabled persons parking bay on:

    i) Upper Rainham Road outside no. 345

    ii) Waycross Road outside no. 12

    iii) Broseley Gardens outside no. 16

    iv) Chelmsford Avenue outside nos. 23 and 25

    v) KInfauns Avenue outside no. 24

    vi) Macon Way outside flat nos. 112 to 122

    vii) Lynton Avenue outside no. 116

    viii) Kingsbridge Road outside no. 63

b) Change the existing disabled persons parking bay to a dedicated disabled persons parking bay on The Mews outside Adams Yard

c) Remove a disabled persons parking bay on Browne Close outside no. 11

d) Relocate the existing disabled persons parking bay outside no. 84 Barnstaple Road and make it a dedicated disabled persons parking bay

e) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on:

    i) Haydock Close at either end of the layby opposite Epsom Way

    ii) Crow Lane outside nos. 1 to 17 Dove House, outside nos. 208 and 208A and outside the site located between nos. 198 and 208

  1. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on the 22n? September 2025, other relevant Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be obtained by emailing schemes@havering.gov.uk

    , until the expiration of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made.

  2. If any person wishes to question the validity of either of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
