Various Streets in Methill - Proposal to introduce New Pedestrian Crossings

What is happening?

VARIOUS STREETS, METHIL -  PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Fife Council propose the installation or upgrade of the following pedestrian crossings:

New Parallel Zebra Crossing

Methilhaven Road – From a point 25 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of  Den Walk in an easterly direction for a distance of 8  metres or thereby.

Wellesley Road - From a point 25 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of Kinnarchie Crescent in a northerly direction for a distance of 12 metres or thereby. New Zebra Crossing

Kirkland Walk – From a point 9 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of Methil Brae in an easterly direction for a distance of 3 metres or thereby.

Upgrade of Raised Zebra Crossing to Raised Parallel Zebra Crossing

Methil Brae – From a point 10 metres or thereby south of the extended south kerbline of Methilhaven Road in a southerly direction for a distance of  10  metres or thereby.

Upgrade of Raised Zebra Crossing to Raised Toucan Crossing

Methilhaven Road – From a point 40 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of Kirkland Drive in an easterly direction for a distance of 7 metres or thereby.

Methilhaven Road – From a point 15 metres or thereby west of the extended west kerbline of Methil Brae in a westerly direction for a distance of 7 metres or thereby.

Full details of the proposals may be examined during opening hours at Fife Council Headquarters, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes and via public access pc’s at your closest library. The documents will also be available online at www.fife.gov.uk/notices
