Various Streets in Leven - Proposal for Road Humps

What is happening?

VARIOUS STREETS, LEVEN - RAISED TABLES

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 37 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 that Fife Council propose to introduce road humps in the form of raised tables as follows:Raised Tables

(6m x 8m x 100mm) – Viewforth from the extended west kerbline of School Lane in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 6 metres or thereby.

(6m x 5m x 100mm) – Rose Terrace from a point 5 metres or thereby west of the extended west kerbline of Waggon Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 6 metres or thereby.

(6m x 8m x 100mm) – Baird Crescent from a point 114 metres or thereby southwest of the extended south kerbline of Lawrie Terrace in a southwesterly direction for a distance of  6  metres or thereby.

(6m x 7m x 100mm) – Aithernie Road from a point 15 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of Baird Crescent in a northerly direction for a distance of 6 metres or thereby.

(28m x 31m x 100mm) – Aithernie Road/White Avenue/Lawrie Terrace from a point 95 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of Baird Crescent in a northerly direction for a distance of 28 metres or thereby; and from a point 78 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of Arnberg in an easterly direction for a distance of 31  metres or thereby.

(25m x 29m x 100mm) – Aithernie Road/Gallacher Avenue/Mackie Avenue from a point 64 metres or thereby north of the extended north kerbline of White Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 25 metres or thereby; and from a point 58 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of Arnberg in an easterly direction for a distance of 29  metres or thereby.

(6m x 8m x 100mm) – Shotburn Crescent from a point 13 metres or thereby northwest of the extended west kerbline of Aithernie Road in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 6 metres or thereby.

Full details of the proposals may be examined during opening hours at Fife Council Headquarters, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes and via public access pc’s at your closest library. The documents will also be available online at www.fife.gov.uk/notices 

Objections to the proposals, stating the grounds of objection and the objector’s name & address, should be sent to Traffic Management, Roads & Transportation Service, Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 6GH or by e-mail to traffic.management@fife.gov.uk by 22 / 10/25.
