GORCHYMYN CEFFNFFORDD YR A458 (CYLCHFAN TAL-Y-BONT I FAN I’R DWYRAIN O DREBERFEDD, POWYS) (GWAHARDD CERBYDAU A BEICWYR DROS DRO) 202-

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A458 rhwng Cylchfan Tal-y-bont a ffin Powys/Swydd Amwythig, neu gerllaw iddo.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd (ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys, ar gyfer y gwaith neu gerbydau gwasanaeth cynnal a chadw y gaeaf) a phob beiciwr rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A458 sy’n ymestyn o ochr ddwyreiniol Cylchfan Tal-y-bont hyd at ffin Powys/Swydd Amwythig, i’r dwyrain o Dreberfedd.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain fydd mynd ar yr A483 tua’r gogledd i Gylchfan Mile End, yr A5 tua’r de-ddwyrain i Gylchfan Churncote a’r A458 tua’r gorllewin: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 6 Hydref 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn bennaf dros nos (19:00 o’r gloch tan 07:00 o’r gloch) o 6 hyd 20 Hydref 2025, neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ynait yn barhaol.

Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamselrennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlynol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gynted unruhyw waith a ailamselrennir.

THE A458 TRUNK ROAD (BUTTINGTON ROUNDABOUT TO EAST OF MIDDLETOWN, POWYS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES & CYCLISTS) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A458 trunk road between Buttington Roundabout and the Powys/Shropshire border.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles (other than those being used by the emergency services, for the works or winter maintenance service vehicles) and cyclists from proceeding on the length of the A458 trunk road that extends from the eastern side of Buttington Roundabout to the Powys/Shropshire border, east of Middletown.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic will be via the northbound A483 to Mile End Roundabout, south-eastbound A5 to Churncote Roundabout and westbound A458: vice versa for westbound traffic.

The Order will come into force on 6 October 2025. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate mostly overnight (19:00 – 07:00 hours) from 6 – 20 October 2025, or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.

Although the Order is only expected to be in force during the period specified above, it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required. Notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work begins.
