Harford Street – Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Refurbishment Of A Building

(HARFORD STREET – NEWTOWN, T7936266) (NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed along HARFORD STREET between its junction with Barr Street to its junction with Great Hampton Street.
The Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic is required to facilitate the refurbishment of a building.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 3rd of October 2025 and will remain in force for a period of SEVENTEEN MONTHS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
