What is happening?

ANGUS COUNTY COUNCIL

TRAFFIC ORDERS

On 22/09/2025 Angus Council made The Angus Council (Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Carnoustie) (Temporary Traffic Arrangements) Order 2025, under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, so that the golf championships may be undertaken. The Order will come into force between
8am on 29/09/2025 until 6pm on 05/10/2025. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on (a) Links Parade, Carnoustie between its junctions with Links Avenue and South Taymouth Street;
and (b) South Taymouth Street, Carnoustie for its entire length. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders
