THE PROPOSED EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, TORRANCE AND BALMORE)
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20XX

East Dunbartonshire Council, in accordance with their powers under s84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, propose to consider the introduction of a 20-mph speed limit on the entire length or part of the length of those roads in Torrance listed in Schedule 1 below and those roads in Balmore listed in Schedule 2 below.

Full details of this proposal, which forms the proposed THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, TORRANCE AND BALMORE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER, together with a plan and statement of reasons for proposing to make this Order, are available for inspection without payment of fee on the Traffic Regulation Orders page of the East

Dunbartonshire Council website and at: -

(i)    Roads & Environment, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF. Telephone Enquiries to 0300-123-4510 (Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm);

(ii)   William Patrick Library, 2-4 West High Street, Kirkintilloch (Mon – Thu 10am to 8pm, Fri – Sat 10am – 5pm); and

(iii)  Bishopbriggs Library and Hub, 170 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2LX (Mon-Thu 10am to 8pm; Fri-Sat 10am to 5pm).

Any person wishing to object to the proposal or make any other representations in relation to the proposal should send details of the grounds for their representation by email to troconsultation@ eastdunbarton.gov.uk or in writing to Legal Services, 12 Strathkelvin Place, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TJ by no later than Friday 24th October 2025.
