Buxton Road - Temporary Road Closure To New Water Connection
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A515 BUXTON ROAD, ASHBOURNE
WHEN: 12 October 2025 (between 08:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Buxton Road, Ashbourne between Victoria Court and St John the Baptist Church.
REASON: To facilitate new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A515 Buxton Road, A5012 Via Gellia, B5035 The Green Road, King Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
