Askew Grove, Repton - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Water Mains Replacement

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ASKEW GROVE, REPTON 

WHEN: 06 October to 02 November 2025 

WHERE: Askew Grove, Repton between its Jct. with Brookside Close and its Jct. with Springfield Road. 

REASON: To facilitate water mains replacement.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Springfield Road, Milton Road, Brook End, High Street, Askew Grove and vice versa. 

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. 

The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. 

Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. 

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
