Lenton Street - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Patching And Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LENTON STREET, SANDIACRE
WHEN: 14 October to 16 October 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: Lenton Street, Sandiacre between the Jct. of Church Street and the Jct. or Starch Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Town Street, Station Road, Derby
Road, Nottingham Road, Church Street, Pasture Road, Moorbridge Lane, Stanton Gate, Ilkeston Road, Lenton Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
