What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

(Various Roads Normanby and Burton-uponStather) (Normanby Hall Hedgehog Half Marathon) (Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council, being satisfied that the provisions set out in Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 apply, proposes to make an Order under that Section on the occasion of the Normanby Hall Hedgehog Half Marathon. The Order will take effect on Sunday 12th Oct 2025 from 8.55am12.30pm and will have the effect of temporarily imposing traffic management measures in Normanby & Burton-uponStather (Burton) as follows - (1) prohibiting any vehicle from proceeding along (i) the following lengths of road from the Normanby Hall Roundabout to Wiltshire Ave - Main St, Normanby, B1430 Normanby to The Avenue, Normanby and The Avenue, Burton; and (ii) between Barnston Way & Vicarage Cres - Normanby Rd, High St, Darby Rd, Burton; and (2) reducing to 40mph all 50mph or 60mph speed limits on Darby Rd, Burton & Burton Rd, Thealby (between Burton & Thealby); Thealby Lane, Thealby & West Halton Lane, Coleby (between Thealby & Coleby); Coleby Rd, West Halton; Whitton Rd, West Halton; Whitton Rd, Whitton; Alkborough Rd, Whitton; Alkborough Rd, Alkborough; Walcot Rd, Alkborough; Burton-upon-Stather Rd, Walcot; Tee Lane, Burton. The diversion route for HGVs is A1077 Mannaberg Way, Winterton Rd, Roxby Rd, Top Rd, B1430 Thealby Lane and reverse. The diversion route for other traffic is Lodge Lane, High St, Burton Rd, Flixborough Rd and reverse.
