C90, Lightfield, Gordon and B6460 Blackadder Mains - Temporary Closing Order

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (C90, Lightfield, Gordon) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on  1 October 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT Works, Pole Replacement.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C90 at Lightfield, Gordon.

The alternative route for westbound traffic is via the A6089, A6105, B6397 and C90 to point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(B6460 BLACKADDER MAINS) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (B6460 Blackadder Mains) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation  Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 29 September 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of eight days between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays only. The road will be open over the weekend of 4 and 5 October 2025.  The Order is required for resurfacing works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6460 at Blackadder Mains.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6460, A6112, B6461, B6437 and B6460 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
