Yeovil Road - Temporary Road Closure To Replace A Pole

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Yeovil Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Yeovil Road - from the junction with Sutton Bingham Church Lane, southwards for a total distance of 1603 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to replace a pole.

The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 17th October 2025 and last until 17th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
