Weston Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Bridge Inspection

Temporary Closure of Weston Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Weston Lane - from 257 metres south-east from the junction with Darvole Road, south- eastwards for a total distance of 45 metres.
This Order will enable Safer Roadworks to carry out a bridge inspection on behalf of Network Rail.
The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 14th October 2025 between the hours of 22:00 - 05:00 for a total of 1 night.
