Watery Lane, Bretby - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Installation and Maintenance of Fibre Assets

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WATERY LANE, BRETBY 

WHEN: 01 October to 06 October 2025. 

WHERE: Watery Lane, Bretby from its Jct. with Repton Road for an approx. distance of 1.4km west. 

REASON: To facilitate installation and maintenance of fibre assets. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Repton Road, Hartshorne Road, Knights Lane, Mount Road, Watery Lane and vice versa. 

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. 

This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. 

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
