NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL THE HAMPSHIRE (TEST VALLEY BOROUGH NO.47) (PARISH OF VERNHAMS DEAN - PART OF FOOTPATH NO.7)

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

The above-named Order, made on 5 August 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath from its current alignment commencing at SU 3536 5772 north east of Stoney Drove Track and proceeding north-eastwards across a field, through the garden of the property Hart Hill, to the Parish Boundary at a junction with Linkenholt Road. The new alignment will commence at SU 3536 5772, to the north-east of Stoney Drove Track and proceed north-eastwards across a field to the Parish Boundary at a junction with Linkenholt Road.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD and at the offices of Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, SP10 3AJ; or online at www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices. Copies of the Order and the map can be provided on request. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Countryside Access, Universal Services, Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or via e-mail to row.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- PPO 5265 no later than 17 October 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

It may also be made public if the matter is referred to the Planning Inspectorate. Your data will be retained for a maximum period of 3 years from the date that the application is resolved. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Hampshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
