Temporary Closure of Blacklands Lane To Forton Lane and Horn Lane to Blackland Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Blacklands Lane To Forton Lane - from the junction with Blacklands Lane to the junction with Horn Moor; Horn Lane to Blackland Lane - from the junction with Blacklands Lane, westwards for a distance of 231 metres. A total distance of 283 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carryout pole replacement works. The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 13th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
