ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Kings Road, Richmond.

(Reference 25/162)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Kings Road, Richmond.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Kings Road, Richmond from the junction with Sheen Road to the junction with Abercorn Mews.

  3. Whilst Kings Road, Richmond is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Kings Road, Marchmont Road, Queens Road, and Sheen Road, and Sheen Road, Church Road,

  4. The order will come into effect on 25 September 2025.

    These works are anticipated to be in progress from 25 September to 26 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

    (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Wensleydale Road, Hampton.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Wensleydale Road, Hampton.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Wensleydale Road, Hampton from the junction with Tudor Road to outside number 6 Wensleydale Road.

  3. Whilst Wensleydale Road, Hampton is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Tudor Road, Station Road, Ormond Avenue, Ormond Crescent, Ormond Drive Uxbridge Road Gloucester Road and vice versa and Wensleydale Road, Hollybush Lane, Percy Road, Ashley Road.

  4. The order will come into effect on 29 September 2025.

    These works are anticipated to be in progress from 29 September to 03 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gloucester Road, Kew.

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Gloucester Road, Kew at the junction with Forest Road.

  3. Whilst Gloucester Road, Kew is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Forest Road, Mortlake Road, Kent Road and vice versa.

  4. The order will come into effect on 24 September 2025.

    These works are anticipated to be in progress from 24 September to 26 September 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

  6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
