Alfreton Road - Temporary Road Closure For Cyclical Maintenance
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ALFRETON ROAD, LITTLE EATON
WHEN: 16 October to 17 October 2025 (20:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Alfreton Road, Little Eaton at the Jct. with the A38.
REASON: To facilitate cyclical maintenance.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Alfreton Road, A38 N to Coxbench from Coxbench to B6179 S to Little Eaton vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
