Temporary Closure of Stoke Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stoke Hill - from the junction with The Bridge to the junction with Church Street. A total distance of 30 metres.
This Order will enable Walters UK Ltd to carry out culvert repair and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 3rd November 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 22 days.
