Gunthorpe Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic To Install Approx. 70M Telecoms Cable

What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Gunthorpe Road, Owston Ferry)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

On 15th May 2024, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along Gunthorpe Road, Owston Ferry. This Order took effect on 23rd May 2024 and will be effective until 22nd Nov 2025.

Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (excavation to install approx. 70m telecoms cable to link into existing telecoms apparatus as part of the fibre to the Home Scheme) necessitating the closure of Gunthorpe Rd 13th Oct-15th Oct 2025 inclusive (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) 8am-6pm each day.

The diversion is Owston Ferry Rd, Stockwith Rd, Heckdyke Lane, Unnamed Rd between Gunthorpe and Heckdyke, Owston Ferry and reverse.
