What is happening?

FOOTPATH CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.15 (PART)
ALDERCAR & LANGLEY MILL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 27th March 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close footpath No.15 between its junction with footpath No.7 and footpath No.21, has been further continued.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the north closure point follow footpath No.21 to Queen Street. At the end of Queen Street travel south and turn west into Bridge Street. At the end of Bridge Street join footpath No.7 and you will meet the southern closure point. Vice versa from the south.
The public footpath will be closed until 31st March 2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety during construction of residential development. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
