Pilsley Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PILSLEY ROAD, MORTON
WHEN: 15 October to 17 October 2025 (08:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Pilsley Road, Morton approx. 180m from its Jct. with B6014 for approx. 80m.
REASON: To facilitate vegetation & brickwork repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pilsley Road, Morton Road, Station Road, Hardstoft Road, Chesterfield Road, High Street, Doe Hill Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
