What is happening?

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that length of Clifton
Hill at Conisbrough in the City of Doncaster District as described
in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to telecommunications cabling are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Clifton Hill, Sheffield
Road, Doncaster Road, Sheffield Road East, Edlington Lane.

undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Bate Lane, Starkbridge Lane, Broad
Lane, Chapel Lane.

Place Back Road at Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.

workforce e whilst works to renew a stop tap and chamber are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles/pedestrians affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of the
scheme and access arrangements.

Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit

asphalt preservation and subsequent road markings are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via White Rose Way, Middle
Bank Roundabout, The Sidings Roundabout, Carr House Road,
Racecourse Roundabout, Bawtry Road, Great North Road, Great
Yorkshire Way.

with the M18 roundabout to its junction with the iPort
roundabout. Outbound only.
Dates and Times
20:00hrs 3rd October 2025 until 06:00hrs 6th October 2025.
The road will be closed for a maximum of 3 nights, between
20:00hrs and 06:00hrs only during the dates shown.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 31st October 2025
