High Street, Bower Farm Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HIGH STREET, BOWER FARM ROAD,
OLD WHITTINGTON
WHEN: 13 October to 20 October 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: High Street, Bower Farm Road, Old Whittington in their entirety.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Lane.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
