What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
GRANGE ROAD, BRIDLINGTON
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed along Grange Road, Bridlington
for the full extent commencing 6 October 2025.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
resurfacing of the existing carriageway and replacement
of damaged kerbs and ironwork, to be carried out and
completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will
be completed by 30 October 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order
is via: N/A. The road will be closed to all through
traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and
for vehicular access to properties directly affected by
the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence 6 October 2025 and
continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen
months or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
