What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A619 CHATSWORTH ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 12 October to 21 October 2025 (Weekdays 19:00 to 04:00, Sundays 17:00 to 04:00)
WHERE: A619 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield between its Jct. with the A619 Wheatbridge to its Jct. with Old Road Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West Bars Roundabout, Boythorpe Road, Whitecotes Lane, A632 Walton Road, A619 Chatsworth Road, Old Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
