THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, HATHERSAGE, DERBYSHIRE DALES)
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be, in respects of roads in Hathersage, Derbyshire Dales is as follows:
TO PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME BY VEHICLES (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Back Lane, Hathersage
North-west side
From a point 17 metres north-east of its junction with Station Road in a north-easterly direction, to a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Roslyn Road.
South-east side
From a point 20 metres north-east of its junction with Station Road in a north-easterly direction, to a point 10 metres south-west of its junction with Ninelands Road.
Castleton Road, Hathersage
North-west side
From a point 18 metres west of its junction with Jaggers Lane in a westerly direction, for a distance of 48 metres.
South-east side
From a point 36 metres west of its junction with Main Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
Coggers Lane, Hathersage
North-west side
From a point 14 metres north-east of its junction with Jaggers Lane in a north-easterly direction, for a distance of 14 metres.
South-east side
From a point 13 metres north-east of its junction with Jaggers Lane in a north-easterly direction, for a distance of 66 metres.
Fellview Close, Hathersage
North-west side
From a point opposite the south-western kerbline of Ladybower Drive in a north-easterly direction, for a distance of 35 metres.
South-east side
From its junction with Ladybower Drive in a north-easterly direction, for a distance of 22 metres.
Jaggers Lane, Hathersage
North-east side
From a point 9 metres north-west of its junction with Coggers Lane in a north-westerly direction, for distance of 54 metres.
South-west side
From a point 9 metres north-west of a point opposite the junction with Coggers Lane in a north-westerly direction, for a distance of 63 metres.
Ladybower Drive, Hathersage
North-east side
From its junction with Fellview Close in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 9 metres.
South-east side
From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Station Approach in a north-easterly direction, to its junction with Fellview Close.
South-west side
From its junction with Fellview Close in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 9 metres.
Main Road, Hathersage
North side
From a point 10 metres west of its junction with School Lane in a westerly direction, for a distance of 5 metres.
Mill Lane, Hathersage
East side
From a point 32 metres south of its junction with Station Road in a southerly direction, for a distance of 13 metres.
West side
From a point 30 metres south of its junction with Station Road in a southerly direction, for a distance of 23 metres.
Moorland Road, Hathersage
North-east side
From its junction with Mill Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
South-west side
From its junction with Mill Lane in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 10 metres.
TO Limit Waiting TO 40 minutes (No return within 1 hour) 8am to 6pm ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTH OF ROAD:
Main Road, Hathersage
North-west side
From a point 15 metres west of its junction with School Lane in a westerly direction, for a distance of 5 metres.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic or carrying out of statutory powers. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles displaying a valid disabled person’s badge will also apply.
REVOCATIONS OF PREVIOUS ORDERS
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, will be revoked.

North-east side
From a point 104 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 8 metres.
From a point 137 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
From a point 153 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 8 metres.
From a point 212 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 9 metres.
From a point 218 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 5 metres.
From a point 282 metres from its junction with Station Approach in a south-easterly direction, for a distance of 15 metres.
Heathers Edge, Hathersage
North-east side
From a point 10 metres south-east of its junction with Heather Lane, in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 6 metres.
Administrative changes are also to be made to the descriptions of existing restrictions. This does not change the description type, nor its location as defined in the made order.
