What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A619 CHATSWORTH ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 16 October to 25 October 2025 (19:00 to 04:00 weekdays only)
WHERE: A619 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield between its Jct. with Old Road, to its Jct. with Storrs Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Storrs Road, Old Road, A619 Chatsworth Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
