What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(SMOUT CRESCENT) (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Smout Crescent at
its junction with Pugh Road to outside property 1.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 08:00 on 6 October 2025 until 17:00 on 17 October 2025.

The diversion route is: Pugh Road.

The Order is required to facilitate the repair of wastewater pipework by Severn Trent Water.
