A632 Chesterfield Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A632 CHESTERFIELD ROAD, DUCKMANTON

WHEN: 13 October to 19 December 2025
WHERE: A632 Chesterfield Road, Duckmanton between a point 450m south west of its Jct. with Staveley Lane, to a point 370m east of its Jct. with Staveley Lane.
REASON: To facilitate water main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A632 Chesterfield Rd, A632 Top Rd to Calow, Blacksmith Ln, Eastmoor Rd, Manor Rd, Brimington Interchange, A619 to Staveley, A6192 Fan Rd / Erin Rd, Enterprise Way, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
